I grossed 130k my first year at K4 with hardly working any over time, maybe 10 days maximum? But you get paid a min day? Looking at the bigger picture, who has the better deal?
This is why K4 pilots are pulling their hair out over 1224 demands on contract stipulations. What is important to your pilot group is or can be irrelevant to ours.

How many credit hours did you average that 1st year versus flight hours? And how many credit hours are you averaging in whatever year you're in now? Just curious, thanks.

A proposed contract means nothing until its approved by both parties.
Your pilot group AND the company WILL both make some concessions to get it there but please dont think you are going to get everything proposed even as much as WE want you to.

You are comparing our old contract to your new contract. Apples to Oranges,
Now imagine your pay rates with our work rules. But we don't want to settle for just that. You have pretty good rates......but we need better work rules to go along with it, and retirement.
Its too bad that K4 pilots feel they have to pick up their marbles and leave. They should have at LEAST TRIED TO participate more within the upper levels of the union. I don't ever remember seeing a K4 pilot running for one of the higher offices. Especially this last election. Nobody even challenged.

Not one position on the Executive Board was challenged.
The Executive Board officers are Atlas, ABX and Southern, and no one else wanted to do the work.
