Top pay is back to what it was in 98 albit with a better cola. F/O and retirement slightly better then the past. Skeds are still up in the air. Most grievances ever so far this year as ups presses to test the new contract. I think you would find it similar to when you left.

I would guess he is a super senior captain there so as long as the company stays in business, I would guess the answer is no.

I have been with a few airlines over the years and all I can say is that I am actually treated better here than at my previous airlines. But then again I am the kind of guy that shows up for work, flies my trips, and go home. I don't sit in the ASC during the sort, nor go into the Cafe to listen to all the conspiracy theories that seem to go around. If you come to realize that you fly for a trucking company, things are OK. Oh, and they pay me a lot of money.

Oh, I know of several JB pilots that would give their left nut to come over to the dark side.

Yeah, but they have an uncertain future, not that we don't. Do any pilots at UPS younger than 35 really think we will be flying in 30-35 years? I'll give it 20 years before we have 1 pilot cockpits and 25-30 years before unmanned cargo planes do a majority of our flying.

Every single capt I know at UPS has a long list of legit complaints about our deplorable relationship with mgt. But they all say that they are lucky and thankful to be here. I applaud someone moving on if they are not happy. Maybe I'll put an app at Skybus.

I'm pretty much in the same boat you are.

Where did you go? I was hired in 1990 as well, and I have to say that I have things pretty darn good at the moment. This company will never love you, but who needs their love anyway? I'm not too sure where you could have went and been doing better 7 years down the road, so I'd have to say you blew it

I know that money isn't everything, but he is making less than half of what he would have made had he stayed. Did you know that we had a guy up in ANC make $50,000 last month??? If he likes blue cool aid, getting pampered and having his but kissed he did good. I'll take my cool aid green
