A Week to go-

Can you show me where the FAA said that? I don't think that they have officialy said anything yet, but what they have indicated is that people that have already left the property will not be allowed to return. I haven't seen anything that even hints that those still here would be prohibited from re-upgrading. I think you may be reading through some wishful blinders.
The ARC's only recommendation was that the change should be prospective in nature, and addressed both those that have "left the property" (in red) and those still "on property" (in blue).Directly from the ARC's report (colors are mine):
The ARC agreed to the following recommendation for consideration:
Reinstatement: Any change to the Age 60 Rule should be prospective. If preventing reinstatement is outside the scope of the Administrator’s authority, Federal legislation may be required to protect companies and unions from lawsuits that may arise challenging the prospective nature of the change, such as reinstatement of employment, seniority, and/or crew position.

"seniority, and/or crew postion" - those still on property.
How's that for a hint?
But you are correct, the FAA has NOT "officialy (sic) said anything yet."

After four times at bat trying to get to the right seat, I think there has been a deal made...she keeps her job but will not be allowed to upgrade. If, indeed, there is a grievance to be filed, I'm sure we would have heard about it by now. Keeping her on the seniority list is job security for anyone who may have trouble in training.
