A Week to go-

It doesn't exactly do that. In fact, with original vacancies it doesn't do that at all. What it does do is limit the amount of recurring vacancies that happen after the original vacancy starts making seat changes. After one or two movements the recurring vacancy will go to an upgrader rather than a transitioning pilot. It is a little tighter even in the new deal than it was in the old.

Wow, someone pushed your button. I assume you are close to retirement??
Can you show me where the FAA said that? I don't think that they have officialy said anything yet, but what they have indicated is that people that have already left the property will not be allowed to return. I haven't seen anything that even hints that those still here would be prohibited from re-upgrading. I think you may be reading through some wishful blinders.

True statement, but if he/she is being displaced, they have their choice where to go based on what their seniority can hold. No sence in down bidding unless you are trying to stay in a certain domicile. I speak from experience. I downbid at one point to SDF just to get back to MIA. And who would have thunk.....I love SDF and plan on staying there.
