Since all 3 regionals were already out of business by then. I'm sure he did it on purpose.

We're mocking NewbiePilot, who didn't realize the post they were responding to was full-on satire.

Quick question for you IFL guys. I will be retiring from my gov job in about 2yrs. When I retire I will be age 50. I am a low time 1800tt guy, I'm sure I will be about 2000tt when I retire. Would IFL hire someone as old as me, or are they only looking for younger guys?

I have a strong work ethic and don't mind loading/unloading the aircraft. I live in Michigan and want to work for a company in Michigan. Will I need to have the Falcon type already to be considered for a position?

Thanks

They'd hire you.

IFL is very hard work. The training is tough but fair. Anybody can do it, but to be truly successful you have to want it. There are 0 handouts.

thanks, I don’t mind working for it. Ive had to work and earn everything Ive accomplished in my life, I just was wondering if being 50 years old was going to hurt my chances of being hired.

I wouldn’t mind doing the FE gig on the 727 if IFL still has them when I retire.

Is IFL still hiring CMEL guys at sub-500 hours? I understand QOL might be rough, but I figured it would be better pre-regional experience than flight instructing.
