I think
The ATR program got scrapped or sent back to Mountain and Empire I think. The Convairs were to go but there isn’t really a replacement.
The aircraft are old, there are no toilets, you get a home depot bucket. Yeah, it does make a difference. The hours can be long so really
go to a regional. There is no flow and you won’t build hours quick. You will tire of this kind of flying quickly.

A home depot bucket
With a hole in the top and a garbage bag inside. You get to use it and then discard it. Oh, you get some bottles of water too.
Make sure anyone asks questions about what they expect of you before you sign up. There are some surprises

The CRJs, Convairs, ATRs and &27s are on the 121 certificate. The Falcons are on the 135 side of things. To my knowledge we are still getting the ATRs, two or three are already on property. Starting a February 28th class for SIC and PICs on the CRJ.

Just saw a posting for the ATR position in Miami on the orange site. Any idea if this is 2 weeks on and 2 weeks off. I commute from SA and have ATR time.

Well….. to be honest, I think they have always at least considered a few people with black marks of some form or another. Maybe the bar has moved lower?

At least you would be acclimated to an apocalyptic type of scenario. Have a few Lowes Blue Buckets stacked in the garage if the lights go out. During normal times it must be abysmal.

Do you know if IFL is hiring? Trying to get in on the next class date for FE.
