FDX 22" luggage question
#11
Does the Costco bag have external side pockets for carrying the occasional extra beverage etc..??? It sounds trite, but I actually enjoyed that feature very much on my current "wounded" bag. I think the Travelpro bag may have some similar external pockets, but I've never examined it up close.
Thanks
Thanks
Costco Kirkland Signature™ Executive 22" Rolling Carry-on Luggage
I keep one of these rolling duffels in my crashpad. I often roll into town with my 26" Travelpro ($140 on eBay) for large chunks of reserve. If I get called out on a short trip, I just use this rolling duffel rather than lug the behemoth Travelpro around. Paid $49 for mine.

Dang F8Dog! There you go with the multiple pix again. I'm going to have to figure this out. Hold on I'll get it before I retire. Those are some ugly ties in your bag though and is that a ladies workout top and spandex?

The part between the "IMG tags" must be a publicly accessible URL, and it must end in a picture file type (.jpg, .bmp, .gif, etc.)

You can post pictures using the "Manage Attachments" button at the bottom of the screen that comes up when you go to post a reply.
The picture needs to be 117kb maximum- use Photoshop to bring it down to 1000 pixels wide and then save it on your hard drive as a jpeg that fits the maximum. When you click on the "Manage Attachments", use the "Browse" button to find your picture and then click. Upload, close the manage attachments, and post your reply.

PS: Picture of my study area....
gif - 19.5 KB and 620 x 280
jpe - 20.5 KB and 640 x 480
jpeg - 29.3 KB and 640 x 480
jpg - 117.2 KB (no dimension limits)
pdf - 4.77 MB
png - 19.5 KB and 620 x 280
For the best results, in my opinion, use the jpg format, and limit the image to 640 x 480.
An easy way to resize an image on your hard drive is to use the website www.resizr.com. You upload your picture to the website, and choose a format and size.
Using the "Manage Attachments" utility described will put the picture at the end of your post, and put it in a lined box labeled Attached Images. In order to make it appear somewhere else in the post, you can use the [attach][/attach] tags. Once you determine the ID number of the attachment, simply place those tags, with the Attachment ID number between, wherever in the post you want the picture to appear.
I just took Normy's study area to Resizr.com, chose 640 x 480 jpg medium quality, and then uploaded it here as an attachment. I rightclicked the resulting link, looked at properties, and saw that the attachment ID is 588. So, if I type [attach]588[/attach] right here, the new image will appear:
Normy's Study Area - 640 x 480 - Med.jpg
But, again, that only gets one image in a post. Unless . . . I'm wondering if I can use other attachments by using their numbers . . . hmmm . . . a little experiment is in order.
Attachment 586
Nope, it only inserts a hyperlink to the attachment.
The other way to insert an image, and the only way to insert images (plural), is with the IMG tags -- but those pictures must be, as I stated above, publicly accessible with a URL, and end with a proper image extension.

My favorite:
"Who's the U-boat commander?"
Good information above. I'm going to have to play around with that resizer website- photoshop 7.0 is easy, but if you aren't used to using it...it can be a pain in the ass.
I believe that this version of vBulletin will let you only attach one picture per post, though most web forums allow as many as you wish. More toy pictures:

MY GOD MAN!!!!!! Who are those ladies in your picture! What worked better, telling them you were a 74 CA or telling them you drove a 928?

MOST photo viewer programs have a resize function! I use Paint Shop Photo Album 5 for most photo viewing, cataloging and some basic editing; Photoshop for the tricky stuff; and MGI Photosuite (very old program but still useful and easy) for some stuff that Photoshop takes to long to master.
