thought K4 might be a good place; seems like they’re just playing games with interviews. No thx.
You won't apply anywhere with a personality test?

You sort of get the sense that personality may not be his strong suit.

Personality test will just numb your mind, and I didn’t find a sample test out there that replicates it. Just try to be consistent. I really don’t think it’s a disqualifier like the Hogans are at UPS and United.

ATP is probably referring to the knowledge test. It was rough, but plenty who thought they blew it got the offer. On the sample tests, focus on aerodynamics and weather. If the LPJ site is new to you, sign up for the 6-month Compass prep package. It’s $60 I think, one time charge. I can’t write the site name here, but it’s in the interview gouges on the interview gouge site.

Can’t really prep for the joystick/pedals agility test, but in the interview, each control will be introduced one at a time, with a practice session for each.

Good luck, it’s a great experience. Looking forward to class.

Sorry to be dense but I guess I’m not on the up with the interwebs lol

LPJ? No idea what that is..

“Interview gouge site”? No idea where that is..

If you wouldn’t mind just a little clarification even via private message I’d really appreciate it!

Meh....the interview still isn't a big deal. I mean you spend a couple hours taking tests....but the actual face to face is very casual. I believe that if you have the experience they are looking for and they bring you in... you'd have to give them a reason to NOT hire you. My experience is about a year and a half old though.....

I suspect you are correct, that most of it is just getting the call to interview, and perhaps the computer testing is more for avoiding the use of the sims. I am old school in that regard though, the sim is where I have always shined in interviews.

K4 truly is a hidden gem. I was just chatting with a buddy of mine at Southwest who is having a hell of a day and its only his start, still had three more legs for the day. He asked how crappy my day is. I told him it was an easy going painful breakfast here at hotel, after I slept in. Got caught up on emails and bills so the wife doesnt have to worry about them all, chilled at Starbucks for a while, grabbed a quick nap and then the pain of trying to figure out where I was gonna have a nice dinner at. Oh, and the stress of booking some airline tickets for my family to meet me for a few day getaway when I come off rotation.

His response!!! F$-K You

Wishing everyone luck. Its a good place to be with some positive items on the horizon.

I have an application on file since 2018 and advanced to phase two however I didn't hear from them. Current 787 Capt and looking to bring the family back to the US.

I will keep updating and hopefully to get a call one day.

Do you know anyone at Kalitta Air? We have pilots from many of the carriers overseas that hire expats. Recommendations go a very long way here. Reach out to anyone you may know who is here.

A friend was there on the 767 but left before he can get the recommendations in. Missed it by like a month. 😭
