Keep flying. How many airplane hours do you have? I think you need 3000 airplane hours to upgrade. Your friend can get you on down the road a bit.

I’m trying to figure out what kind of qualifications ATI is looking for.
I got the TBNT email today but a friend of mine got called for an interview. I wasn’t overly surprised when I got the email since I don’t have a lot of part 121 time. But the thing is, he has less. Between the two of us I have about 3300 TT and 370 part 121 time, no failures and a BS degree. He has about 1500 TT, 200 part 121 time, no failures and no degree. While I am happy that my friend is getting the interview I am a bit disappointed that I didn’t. Would anyone have any insight? One thing that we thought it might be is our ages. I am almost 40 and he is in his late 20s. Could this be a factor? Thanks. |
I’m interviewing soon. From the pilot group, is everyone generally happy? I’m able to upgrade at my current airline and I haven’t heard a whole lot of ATI’s way of life or from any pilot for that matter. Any insight would be great, thanks!

I've applied in the last window and till today still haven't heard from ATI. No invite or a TBNT does this mean it is still under consideration and I should update my application during this window?
If anyone knows a better answer to how to update/resubmit applications I’d love to know. |
I just finished OE last week. So far, I’m really happy with my decision to come here. I had zero 121 time or an internal rec. I went to a job fair and spoke to them. That was all it took.

I just turned down the interview. It doesn’t make sense for me to go from a MMG of 75hrs to a little higher first year pay, MMG of 60hrs., and now gone 2-3 weeks vs. 17-18 days off.

How does commuting work at ATI? Are you home based with positive space? Can they positive space you from a large international airport?
|
We are a true Home Based airline. Company pays 100% of space positive travel and accommodations while away from your Home Base
“Home Base” means, an airport, which must be within the 48 contiguous states, designated by the Company within 100 miles of the Pilot's home (unless the Pilot lives outside the 48 contiguous states), that has regular scheduled passenger service by at least three air carriers (legacy carriers, regional carriers serving a legacy carrier, or low cost carrier) that operate aircraft with more than 50 seats into and out of that airport; exceptions to service levels may be made by management. In the event the Pilot does not live within 100 miles of a compliant airport, he will be required to position himself to the nearest compliant airport. For any Pilot who lives outside the 48 contiguous states, the Company will designate an airport in the 48 contiguous states that will serve as the Pilot's default base. Hope this helps, FAJ |
Schedule ?
Hello Folks
Dallas area resident here. Is ATI going to be the "primary" company flying on behalf of Amazon Prime in to Alliance KAFW ? I live towards AFW, hence my question. What are the Pilot schedules like ? I heard it is 12-16 days on the road at a time. Any truth to this ? Thank you very much |
