Parked airframes? I'm pretty sure Atlas World Holdings / Titan leasing(same company right?) makes money because some one is flying those airplanes. Just like how Atlas always secures long term contracts and finds some one to fly them. If it isn't Atlas pilots, then it's Kalitta doing the Incheon run, if not Kalitta, it's Western Global, etc.

Titan is a subsidiary of Atlas Air Worldwide Holdings.

Along with all these other ones...

You and I have very different experiences then. Not saying all are bad or anything generic like that. I haven't seen a single new-hire yet that is "left seat tomorrow" ready; even those who are supposed to have time in type or previous command experience. My comments are not essentially Hispanic oriented verses new-hires in general. Of course I haven't flown with everyone either (although most...).

I have tendency to agree with Dogo and Jackstraw more so on this one...

Are you the ONE holding/(mirroring) flight controls whenever FO flying??

Not defending poor phraseology on the radio. Defending having accents.

Of the 13, six are dry-leased to Amazon plus one operational spare, one military, two currently DHL (probably going to 1), and 2 used on other stuff. So that seems like 12 of the 13. Still, of course, plenty of growth opportunity if the Superfund site of workplace toxicity is ever abated...

WJC;
The problem is that the ABX employees are stuck with a management leadership that is not tuned to the reality of the market. The ABX upper management is still thinking it’s 2009 and they are asking for concessions. They are masking those concessions by offering a modest pay increase and then demanding a give back that equates to 1.5 times the offered pay increase. What are they smoking?

On a side note, it’s interesting to see that Joe H has not dropped the title of CEO of ABX Air. I wonder what that means. What is your take on it?

Joe has been effectively been neutered by his board of directors. That is why you have the clown show at ABX. Hete will sit back and retire a very rich man with the reputation of being a one-trick-pony.

So when do you expect Hete will retire?
