Default Any help?

Can anyone give any insight about the interview? I got it - there are people who are not happy everywhere. That's still not a reason to be unprofessional. I've been in way worse situations in real combat versus combat on forums. I'm sure the trolls will have fun with this post... ready.. set... go...

For the rest of the guys AJT is not perfect but if you want to fly a Heavy around the world and gain experience as a stepping stone, while making six figures. It can give you that!

I wouldn’t even have any way of knowing what the account you’re accusing me of is talking about. Not a good look for a union rep of one of the newest to the national organization. You can explain to the appropriate parties why you continue to lash out at other airline employees who aren’t even involved with your airline. I tried to discuss it with you, but you’re the only one who “tail tucked” away when confronted directly by me. You keep saying for everyone to be happy and to enjoy their airlines and I am. Stop obsessively dragging us back and let us? Any further comments about me I’ll consider harassment at this point. You’re welcome to discuss with me directly like a professional would but at this point it’s being handled by appropriate parties.

I see you quoted my post but I’m not sure who you’re referring to. Maybe a mistake? Not sure. I didn’t make comments about Amerijet or it’s pilots. If you’re suggesting my posts are N608AXs like mudflap, again, I have proof those are not my posts and I’ve contacted mudflap multiples times to have a conversation and provide that information but he’s refused. I’d think he’d want to get to the bottom of it based on his comments. He has my number and my phone line is open. Im available for a chat but I was ignored. Im not hiding behind a keyboard. I’m already at my airline of choice and haven’t flown with Amerijet since last year. I’m not sure you quite understand what’s going on here. In any case I’ve tried to handle this professionally and was refused, so now the professionals can handle it. In any case, maybe you weren’t talking to me, I’m not sure if you meant to quote me or someone else. I agree with you that any pilot at any airline who has a problem should talk to their reps and leave it off the forums as it solves nothing. I was just drug into this lol. Until there’s any evidence of whatever accusations presented here, it’s just trolling with a personal ax to grind. I can’t control what other pilots or current employees say here and I’d love to be left out of it! Go commit aviation and enjoy. I sure am.

Your comments don’t warrant any kind of response besides “if it’s so bad here, turn in your two weeks like a professional and I wish you the best at your next airline”… or at your major airline you tucked tail and ran back to

If anybody, that actually works for Amerijet, doesn’t think myself or any of the rest of the union leadership are leading the group in the right direction then go through the process and recall us. I would love NOTHING more than to go back to the line and not have to respond to idiots on the internet that doesn’t even work here anymore. However, until that time, I’ll be the voice of reason who’s saying things are progressively getting better here and Amerijet and it’s pilots have a bright future ahead.
You didn’t answer my question. Was the reinstated CKA a SCAB or not? If so, everything else you say loses credibility.

Not only a scab…. A twice scab. He walked the line twice.
Not just that…. Check out the post spefield wrote, that’s 100% correct.
This guys is a piece of work and the union MEC is defending him. What a joke!
ALPA MEC chairman defending a scab, I’m sure that will go over well.

OOFF. That’s not a good look. Any place that gives SCABS leadership positions creates a toxic pilot culture. Those cockroaches should be treated like the vermin they are.

And I assume you meant “crossed” the line, not “walked” the line.

Default My experience

My experience so far:

I was hired in summer 2021. It took 4.5 months to go from Indoc to being released from IOE, others in my class took 4, 5 and 5.5 months, it can be frustrating to take long in training but I think the whole industry is going through some struggles to get pilots qualified.

After training was completed my first roster took base in Miami. I made over $16,000 picking up OT on my days off and I was 9 nights away from home (I live in Miami so I was very happy), 16k a month on a first year FO salary with a few days of extra work it's a very good deal in my opinion.

Next two rosters were temporary bases therefore I have to be away from home for 16 days including travel days. Yes the company pays for travel expenses and following your rotation you get 12 days-off in a row. It can be a blessing for commuters but I do not care for a temporary base because Miami is home. I expect to get Miami in 2 rosters from now so potentially I am looking at 4-5 rosters of Jr Temporary bases since I was released from IOE before I can get Miami.

I came from a six figure job to Amerijet because I am betting on the company and the growth it has shown to be able to achieve. The place is a mess right now and it was a disaster when I arrived. As a matter of fact 5 months ago when I was still in training I was questioning whether I made the right decision to leave a sweet job to come here, yes it looked quite messy, training was backed up and upper management changes were happening. But in all reality what can you expect from a company that went from 6 planes and 60 pilots three years ago with a Caribbean and Central America operation to now 19 planes and 185 pilots with DHL, UPS, USPS, AMAZON and Department of Defence contracts plus ETOPS and operating not only 767s but 757s as well... It ain't easy to grow at that fast rate but it seems as things are consolidating.

It's now 9 months since I've been here. I 've seen so many positive changes that all I can say is this is a place that's going in the right direction. It's not perfect, it's not for everyone, but the amount of opportunities are mind blowing for those who can see and understand a diamond in the rough.

My thoughts on the CBA are that it's something that must happen in the next few months due to a couple simple factors; First the current CBA is written for a regional Caribbean operation. If the company wants to grow they need new rules and agreements that can allow for a global operation to happen. I do not believe the current CBA it's actually favoring the company's expansion. And Second because the company won't survive the amount of pilots jumping ship at the current rate, Amerijet needs to have a competitive advantage over its competition in order for pilots to stay and until that happens many will keep leaving and not many will join the ranks.

Like it has been said here before, Amerijet is not for everyone but if you are willing to bear some growing pains like I am I believe the rate of reward can be immense considering the small investment of time you must put in. I strongly feel that Amerijet will leave many critics speechless a couple years from now.

I am not leaving, I am giving the place a chance till the end of the year, if a good CBA is not achieved by then I will have to reassess my situation. For now, que viva la bamba!

There is something seriously wrong with this statement.

DHL, UPS, USPS, AMAZON and Department of Defence contracts plus ETOPS
Which Amazon routes does Amerijet operate?

Did anyone ever tell you why Amerijet isn't doing all the trans-Atlantic flying they used to do for DHL?

Why not share what you make while on an out station. 16,000?
That would equate to you working nearly 27 days. Hope you don’t have a family or kids.

Waiting 10 more months for a CBA? That’s thousands of seniority slots you are loosing for what? A hope that a new CBA will be signed? Why don’t you read the 2020 forums to now… most people sound like you. Where’s the CBA? Wasn’t it promised by August?
You are willing to sacrifice 10 months of seniority that’s awesome. I mean you did leave a six figure job for AJT, you must be rolling in cash.
