Why not share what you make while on an out station. 16,000?
That would equate to you working nearly 27 days. Hope you don’t have a family or kids.
Waiting 10 more months for a CBA? That’s thousands of seniority slots you are loosing for what? A hope that a new CBA will be signed? Why don’t you read the 2020 forums to now… most people sound like you. Where’s the CBA? Wasn’t it promised by August?
You are willing to sacrifice 10 months of seniority that’s awesome. I mean you did leave a six figure job for AJT, you must be rolling in cash.

Following successful proving runs last week, it appears that Amerijet began 757 revenue service today. https://flightaware.com/live/flight/N818NH

Let an “asshat” teach you so very basic 4th grade math. I realize most Amerijet pilots lack any basic life skills, so let me explain.
First off - drop the Anerijet pom-poms- and get a calculator.
Your other cheerleader colleague stated that they had made 16,000 dollars on first year pay in one period.
16,000 is the magic number.
A first year FO makes about $94 bucks - give or take- at 60 minimum guarantee. That equals to 5,640, not including perdiem .
Now, how did this magical FO make 16,000? Well there are many avenues to this but the most simple one would be trip rig.
Say this FO was doing OE out of base, and is now on trip rig that’s 6 hours of pay per day right? Being that they would be gone their entire duty days that’s 16.
16 x 6 x 94 = that FO would have banked 9,024 dollars.
Still short of 16,000 he claimed to have made.
The only closest way for this FO to have made 16,000 bucks is by dividing 16,000 by 6 and 94.
That makes 28 days of work in a 28 day period.
That’s assuming they worked all their days off out of base making trip rig.
It’s simple arithmetic there captain cheerleader.
So now let’s add your comment to the equation. 9 nights away from home?
That would equate to 54, short of the 60 min Guarantee.
Other scenario would be that such pilot spent 16 days of reserve at home (Miami) netting 60 and was away 9 days doubt OT that would equate to 114 hours of credit at 94 would have made him 10,800- short 6,000.
The other plausible scenario is that such pilot -being away 9 days-. Would have flown around 7-8 hours a day and credited more than duty rig. That would put such pilot above the 100 hour FAA restriction.
Asshat? Sure I’ll take it, asshat for eve coming to an airline which pilots defend being the lowest paid pilots in the supplemental industry.
It’s okay to be proud of where you work, but it’s a whole other to defend **** poor wages and bad QOL.
You shouldn’t be here defending this, you should be advocating for better wages than your competitors. Then again, you prove my point, you can’t even do simple math and are mostly likely stuck at AJT for the rest of your career.
Keep thinking y’all are making “money” here. Keep those blinders on like a good boy and stare at the ground.

What kind of soft/premium pay incentives you guys have? Picking up OT and only making 16k sounds low to me.

Any second year FO at any 121 supp makes more than a 2nd year captain there.
144/hr for a second year captain. Great wages.

Ok, at my shop I just flew with a 2nd year FO who made 31k in January. And a 7 year CA who made 52k. Hope AmeriJet gets that contract soon, and hope they know what others are making so they don't sell themselves short.

$16,000 is pretty high for an FO at about 150 hours of credit for pay (more if you don't count per diem). Living in Miami and picking up good trips, that's doable. I'm guessing it could be done "working" 22-23 days of a roster.
Second-year FOs at places that fly the same planes as Amerijet seem to have limited success in breaking guarantee, so their rates aren't exactly the selling point you think they are.
Of course, QOL and pay increases are needed to keep up with the industry...did you know AJT is in active negotiation on a new contract?

You say "here" like you work at Amerijet, yet you don't seem to know much about the current pay structure.

I can do the commute to Miami for out and backs but would prefer overnights, 3-7 days away. How difficult would it be to get this? I have been offered a class date but info like this has been hard to come by from HR.
