I'm interested in AJT mainly for the international flying opportunities and have a few questions (scrolled back quite a few pages and didn't see these answered anywhere else). And before someone chimes in, I'm aware the pax airlines are hiring and they pay better 
- What's the typical schedule? I'm sure it varies quite a bit base-by-base, but a general breakdown of the types of flying in various bases would be very helpful. How many days flown per rotation, typical legs/day, mainly day/night, etc.
- How long are the rest periods typically when flying abroad? Enough time during a layover to actually explore where you end up?
- How easy is it to switch between temporary bases? If, say, you wanted to do flying around Latin America one month and fly out of Incheon the next, is that possible, especially in Year 1?
- Do you get positive-space travel to temporary bases, or is it up to you to get yourself there? Travel on days on or off?

It just started late fall. GSP-ANC-ICN and RFD-ANC-ICN. The china permits have come through supposedly and there will be ICN-HGH and SHE starting in february.

So all the insiders here claiming the contract was a done deal were wrong?
I guess Atlas and Kalitta can rest knowing the almighty Amerijet contract will not blow them out of the water. Crises adverted! Keep having fun flying broke and toasty airplanes into Asia at bottom feeder 36st rates. Glad you all are raising the bar for everyone.

Ameirjet dosent have reserve. They fill open trips with volunteers. But lately no volunteers since they aren’t paying 150% for open time. Guys are quitting also do to this and non existent contract talks.
