3 out of 10 of the last upgrades failed. Don’t need seasoning? I beg to differ.
And believe me, the training at AJT is a JOKE. For someone to fail they really have to go above and beyond to screw up.

None of them were the experienced pilots that I was referring to since they haven't started their upgrade training yet.

500 hours of military time can count towards the 1,000 SIC to be able to upgrade. Including helo time 😁

There's this amazing new thing called The Internet. It contains loads of information and allows you to even point people directly to it!

being a pilot is not that hard. Flying an airplane is easy. The training in most airline are easy. It’s not meant to make you feel special, it’s just there to teach you how not to Kill yourself and others while fly something worth millions. So saying the training is a joke at AJT is laughable, because all training ( at least I have been an employee to diff part 121 company) so far so good has been easy.

once again, aviation or part 121 training is easy. Just know what to study and how they want you to fly their airplane, and that’s it. The only diff btw you and the non pilots is that you miraculously was able to shell out thousands of dollars to train to become one(pilot).

ps: I left Amerijet ( nice company , could do better ) due to me going after the money.haha.

It's not about how difficult or easy the training is. It's how stringent the company is when it comes to evaluating the performance of trainees and being willing to fail those who don't meet the standard.

And getting through training is about more than just studying systems and procedures. Some people truly do not have the level of skill necessary to fly something like a 767. I don't find it difficult, and you may not either. But some people clearly do.

How many civilian turbine power-lift aircraft are in service??? I'm having trouble thinking of any, other than the Osprey spin-off which is still in development.
