The place is a dumpster fire. This place has lost over 100 pilots and 6 airplanes in the last year and is still overstaffed by 50 pilots. They are firing pilots and failing people on PC and line checks so they aren’t marketable anymore.The union is a joke and will do nothing for you. Stay away from this place !
If you had done your HW as you were supposed to, you would have known this place had always and will always be a dumpster fire. It’s a Miami 36st pooo hole.
too many people believed the hype of mythical flying routes and 777s.
I feel bad because I know some really good people that believed all the trash this airline sold and made permanent decisions and stayed.
now it’s just too late to do anything about it.
most airlines have stopped hiring and the now music has stopped.
Delta and AA can now cherry pick the best pilots from other airlines and avoid hiring the amazing talent at AJT.
People here should have listened, and heeded the advice of many people who left for greener pastures.
But really, the jokes on the good old boys here calling other pilots “idiots” for moving to better places. Who’s laughing now.
I already heard the news of potential furloughs coming up at Amerijet’. And my prediction is this place closing sooner than later.
if your smart, start applying ANYWHERE. don’t get busted, don’t get pink slipped. Go to a regional, saver ur career and GTFO.
The writing is on the wall, and it won’t be too soon before spirit folds, FedEx, United and JetBlue furlough.
you will be competing against pilots with real airline experience for any job.
