Interesting, especially since they announced 6 (potentially 12) more 767s going to ATI this morning. I wonder if they’re already adequately staffed for the inbound freighters or the new planes aren’t coming online until later next year.

ATI slows the training and hiring each year at peak in order to put the most pilots on line as possible to meet the demands. During peak they try not to hire, but that doesn’t mean they won’t. There is no sign of slowing down as far as I can see for both operations and growth. I believe that if there are no more classes this year they will have to have even more next year.

rumors... whispers... no difference. Just letting someone know what I’ve been told as an employee. Now I hope they do start more classes, I’m all for people getting jobs right now and hope the best for everyone interviewing or in the pool.
