Amazon delivery drivers (Amazon branded trucks, etc) wear Amazon uniforms do they not? This is probably a branding thing versus a cosmic leap by some that "Amazon is buying ATI."
And why would they? There is no reason to actually buy ATI. Most of these leasing schemes and "we own the plane/lease, you [contractor] operate it" is due to corporate tax and legal/liability benefits.
In any event, Bezos and the rest of the gang do not like unions.

You'll have to define "concessionary".
As of January 1 of this year, my pay increased by 27%. I will work 7 fewer days this year than I did last year. I haven't been junior manned a single day this year because it's now possible to pick up open time at 150%, 175%, or 200%, and junior man pay hasn't changed. And the amount that the company puts into my retirement account increased from 7.5% to 8.5%.
