ATI - first couple of years?

i suggest reading Bob Buck’s book, North Star over my left shoulder. He started on the DC-2, all the way to the 747. TWA. Lindbergh was his chief pilot. Primarily New York to London. He brought his sextant on board his 747, just to keep things honest.
Pre-9/11, I can hear him giving tours of the cockpit to kids. “Mr. have you flown more than this Boeing 747? How many years? What did you start out flying? Did you ever meet Charles Lindbergh?”

So I see that Amazon's going to be having you guys fly to BOG, LIM and UIO out of MIA soon. Cool! I'm guessing the backhaul of perishables from South America will be at higher weights than Amazon typically flies, and it might be pretty fun to see what the ol' gal can do out of a place like UIO loaded down with fish, fruit and nuts.

Never said they wouldn't. What I said was that they're likely to get more of a workout on the backhaul then they typically do for Amazon. So a different kind of flying. And that's not incorrect.

FedEx just stopped hiring, only a matter of time before the rest follow suit.

Inevitable, not much of a crystal ball moment or shocker by any means - just maintain the chairs at the table no matter what outfit you’re at. Despite being on property, losing chairs is the true punch in the gut and reality check. Not really an issue at FedEx except the upward stagnation “brakes set” begins, but the others have accelerated massive hiring numbers and hopefully are fulfilling true needs and not too much future/dreamworld forecasting requirements. Everyone hires til they don’t and some just fill the pool regardless of the climate and drain it accordingly as nothing is lost on their end. Seniority # is key, swimming is indefinite.
