I'm pretty sure you are SOL. My friend's uncle is a mechanic and they told her (pilot) no dice.

There are plenty from both places here. I'm a 'real' pilot and like it better than my passenger experience so far. What's your flying background?

Just spent all morning filling out the app... I meet all the qualifications, and then some. No heavy or international time. I got the flight supplement, and no opportunity to upload a resume. Clicked submit and got the infamous:
Thank You We have received and reviewed your background application information. Unfortunately, we currently have many qualified applicants and will not be able to schedule you for additional testing at this time. Thank you for your interest in UPS.

Next page shows "on file"

So is the consensus that I'm out of luck for this year?

Wow, hope this is not the case. My step brother (by adoption) is in management and my younger brother was just hired as a package handler. I really hope this wouldn't hurt me as a pilot.

Has anyone received a reply on the e-mail request for the link to add flight times or resume's? I was told that the guy who does it is out on vacation until the 27th... can anyone confirm this?

If your brother works there, you are SOL. I do know they make exceptions for ground people in SDF because they can't find enough people in KY that aren't related....LOL! Seriously though, that's what I have heard. It's different for pilots. If you tell them your brother works there, as of right now, you will NOT be hired. It's totally stupid, but hey, I cannot argue with the big brown machine. Your brother would have to quit in order for you to work there. Tell his a$$ to get a job at FedEx as a package handler.
