Just completed the application and I wasn't asked to upload a resume. I'll contact them using the link that Radial Song provided and see what gives.

I imagine that last bullet point about turbo-PROP is a typo hopefully since above it says jet or turboprop
I don't have any turboprop PIC time...I hope it's a typo.

One more thing, the application asked if I had any relatives working at UPS. I actually interviewed for a position as a sort worker in Chelmsford MA while I was in college(1985 or so). I sat down for the interview and the interviewer looked my application over and asked if my grandfather was named Arthur. It was and he then told me that his dad was my grandfather's brother and that because of this, I could not work at UPS. I'd never met this guy in my life! I've since been told that a relative this distant would not be a problem. Does anyone know this to be the case for sure? I disclosed this on my app of course.

Spooledup,

I was hired last year and can tell you that the nepotism rule has changed. The rule used to apply to any family member (including distant relatives) but now only applies to immediate family -- mother, father, brother, sister, husband, wife. I have a first cousin that flies for UPS. When I applied I put it in the application. They also asked in the interview and I told them straight up. It was no problem and they explained to me that the rule changed a few years ago. So, you should be fine with your situation.

Wow, didn't know that. Would a stepson be a close or a distant relative?

That rule is so stupid. IMO husband or wife is not really a relative especially since you can marry a UPS pilot once you work there.

Dumb dumb dumb

My brother is a ramper @ SDF. Does that count me out? I "heard" that the rule only applies if one is in a position to promote or fire the other.
