I was in SUB and hit the "acknowlege" button for a trip assignment. I IMMEDIATELY called Crew Scheduling and spoke to both the crew scheduler and the supervisor. I WAS TOLD that by hitting the "acknowledge" button I had ACCEPTED the trip. It took the Duty Officer and ALPA Contract Enforcement to get me off the trip.

If you don't acknowledge the crew notification you are locked out of all pages on the website UNTIL you hit the "acknowledge" button. If you power down your computer, pull the plug out the wall, whatever you want to do.....when you return to pilot.fedex.com and log-in you will be right back at the screen with the "acknowledge" button staring you in the face.

Which is why I ALWAYS check my calendar before any Crew Notifications!
