Still only a practice bid, but....

Potentially good news for 55 poolies (35 Eggrolls & 20 Croissants). For all you "messing" with the system, don't forget to change your standing bid NOW to what you REALLY want to fly. Oh, and LOA v4.0 is here (1000 # of household goods). Do I hear v5.0 by Friday?

Wouldn't be surprised to see some "secondaries" MEM 757 FO as they only have 20 primary vacancies and they'll need all 20 of them for the first month of STV since there were 20 open primaries at CDG.

I used to play poker with a guy that once the cards were dealt, and he didn't like his hand....he'd lean across the table and swat the cards out of the hands of the unsuspecting players and scream "MIS-DEAL"...then he'd collect the cards and deal again.

I think it is now appropriate to refer to the ANC newhires as "Chunks".....as in Halibut "Chunks"

Anybody want to take odds they cancel this bid to "re-evaluate? Seeing how they went to great lengths a few years ago to ensure WB int'l Capts were as senior as possible due to our "accident" streak.............wonder what the insurance Co's will have to say about making a 2.5yr hiree a Int'l WB Capt? Hmmmmm.......Hmmmmmmm......anyone.....?

Good point, but I'd be more scared to fly with a 27C who hasn't been over there than a 2.5 year FO who's been flying over there the majority of the time (like myself).

You seem to forget that a lot of our 2.5 year hires were W/B Captains in another life. Some have a lot more experience flying international than some of the W/B Captains we have now.
