Default UPS Pool

I hear from a very good source that...there is no more pilot pool at UPS i.e. folks that thought they were still in the pool as of Nov 05ish time were flushed and will have to re-apply?

Nope. Talked to a friend at UPS in SDF, and the pool is alive and well. In fact, they have cranked up interviewing in anticipation of a rather large year. The folks in the pool have been looked at various levels and given the OK, so flushing them out would make no sense...

Thanks for checking. Interesting how information can be very different from the same sources

If that was the case, I would hope they would send us pool scum a letter so we could say "almost made it". I checked my status on the UPS web page and see I am still 'active' as it is written. Now I just hope I can have that changed to 'hired' this year.

Default UPS Poolies???

If you are a UPS poolie, how long have you been treading water? I'm trying to get a rough estimate of how long the average guy/gal has to wait today.

Thanks and good luck in getting a class date quickly.

There is no average wait time. Some of us started class 3 weeks after the interview, while others have been waiting since 2004. It's an unfortunate thing that HR is doing to people. This is a great job and it's worth the wait. Just don't pass up too many other great opportunities while you wait.
