There are not too many over-60 guys left who did not have the opportunity to go to ANC FO this time, so I don't expect but a few of those to jump on an ANC FO spot in the next bid. That will open up those seats to others.

I didn't take ANC FO this time, so I won't need Freightpups cookie recipe. I'm expecting it will be 12-18 months before a bid comes out where I can hold a lower-48 FO, bidding in the low 900's. That's more than enough time for Freightpup to make some more pups <g>.

Are you waiting for mia to open up so you can have your old seat back?

My preference is SDFZ and/or MIA FO for 2-3 years. Be senior in the seat and bypass captain when I can. If they keep up this 64 1/4 bypass, it may change my plans.

roger that. However we like you to stay far far away from rsv, other than that welcome back.

I've seen it first-hand at a former airline. And yes it's powerful, but glad to be here, sir.

After the dust settles.....

On the ANC -400, there are over age-60 F/Os correct ?

Are there any over age-60 Capts. ?

I haven't kept up with all the legislation, but on Int'l flights, no two over age-60 pilots can fly together, is that correct ?

Inquiring minds would like to know, thanks

Deuce,

They can be paired together, however the 3rd pilot must be under 60. He can be in the bunk and the 2 over 60 guys can legally be paired together enroute. I'm not sure if the under 60 pilot must be in a window seat for the takeoff and landing. IPAMD11FO has a good link with a better and far more accurate interpretation of the law than I've got.

Cheers,
Junior

Dang! I was just going to PM you with it!

Hey! Don't be making too many puppy plans for me....We'll have to see how things go with the first pup first. Only a few more weeks left...yikes!

I don't know about two more displacement bids, but there is supposed to be another one similar to this round in the June/July time frame. Maybe another one as the DC-8s get parked and the new 767s arrive. The next one will primarily be driven by parking of the 747 Classic and -400 vacancies. Some 20+ Capts, FOs, and FEs will need to go somewhere. Hang on to your hat (if you have one) - the bumpy ride has just begun.
