XprsFr8r,
When was the last time you went out to fly a trip, had engine start problems, an RTO, an engine failure at V1, a flap problem, wind shear, GPWS activation, hand flew a single engine ILS, missed the approach, magically got your engine restarted, shot a CatIII and then evacuated the airplane, because it had a cargo fire, with some FAA/LCA type sitting on your jumpseat watching you?
No fair, if you work(ed) for Kallitta.
I'll welcome a reserve guy on a trip. But yes, I would prefer a "support" guy for my check ride.
