yes, it is officially approved, there may be paperwork sitting in OKC, but for the most part trials, flights and most are completed and approved. training is ongoing.

Projection is that we will fly our own routes to the West Coast on June 1, (two planes and NAC crews).
May 9th or so we will fly one of the two West Coast schedules.

We'll hire, IMO, we are short crews, will be more so then, considering an IRO position and layovers.

Congratulations! Finally...ETOPS!

Does ATI use an IRO on the LAX-HNL "Aloha Cargo" segment? I didn't think United did on their passenger flights. Or did I misunderstand your meaning?

ATI does not use an IRO on the aloha run. It’s only about 5-6 hours out of LAX. ATI does a one and done with a decent layover on each end. I’m curious if NAC will do it out of anchorage. Then maybe (not sure how realistically long that would be).

ANC-HNL is about 6 hrs in 73. But it’s hard to believe there’s a market large enough for a run between the two. Fresh crabs for pork each day?
