Because of all of the moving parts required (training, buying of houses, junior guys at HKG and ANC...), a furlough does not seem likely to me. Has anyone heard any thing else to back up this 300/300 rumor?
Yes, a friend recently finished a siba trip in Europe and the ACP in Paris dropped the same rumor bomb. I kept mums about it until it surfaced here. Still a rumor IMHO.

It's a newsletter of sorts. He puts out rumors and what not from other pilots. He just forwards things that get sent to him. They are not his rumors. Always interesting reading though.

Lets, see put 600 guys on the street. Park all of the 310s. Reshuffle the entire pilot senority system while all that's going on. That alone will take years to accomplish. Wait for the 757s to arrive which seem slow as mud. A delayed 777 arrival. Instructors quiting and going back to the line, and more. I'll believe it, when I see it.

Still Fedex management does seem to be in a pickle..........

They may make believers out of you sooner than you think. Somethings got to give. So far it's BLG reduction and it is going to get alot worse before it gets better.

Obama is not going to save us.......buckle up!

Are you sure, I saw that video of the woman saying that she would no longer have to worry about putting gas in her car or paying her mortgage. Maybe that will go for all of us.

Heard the same thing, except through different channels (Instructor meeting). Excess bid, 600 furloughs within the next year. Hopefully, it'll just remain a rumor.
