And to top it off, in about a week we will be starting a new thread on August DPs.
There is quite a difference between a non-member having to write a check for unpaid dues, to get off a list...And, a DP flyer not flying an extra trip, to get off a list.

How about one of us posting their names? I'm a rock where computers are concerned but couldn't one of us who knows how to do it just create a web page listing the names of those who fly DPs? It's not like it is slander or anything...all we would be doing is posting facts..."these guys flew this trip"

Thoughts??

Remember - You do not have to have a valid reason to sue someone, just enough $$$ to pay the lawyers. The DP flyers are the ones with extra $$$ and can afford to start a lawsuit - can you afford to defend yourself?

OMG!!! We might get sued! Panic attack!!!! Gimme Maalox NOW!!!

How's this instead: "Could you um, please--pretty please--maybe kinda hopefully not fly those DP's, because we're sort of sensitive, and it hurts our feelings, it's not an approved "green" activity, and it's just not...nice to do that. I beg you. Please???"

Better??

PS: Years back, I watched the Machinists fill up a malcontents Toyota to the ceiling with aircraft wheel grease, until it seeped out the windows, after he wouldn't play ball. Obviously that's extreme, and nobody's suggesting that here, but there's a difference between hardline and paralyzed by fear...

I don't see any problem listing historical data. This way these bozos could be called out when they offer the insulting excuse that it was a simple mistake. No more lying your way into social opportunities.

"CA Doofus flew 2 DPs in June, 4 in the 1st quarter, 10 the first six months of '09 and 20 in 2008."

Facts are facts. We shouldn't be afraid of them.

They should have their own networking website.

Truth be told, I accidently picked up a DP once. An alert APC'er quickly emailed/PM'd/IM'd me and I dropped it immediately. So ... innocent accidents DO happen, maybe once?

Please be sure to include credit hours for this DP trip and total DP hours to date. If possible, could you also include their pay rate (i.e. 126 total DP hours x $227/hr = $28,602)

- It would also be interesting to annotate which of these boneheads are non-members

Seriously though, sew someone over posting facts? Only a moron would pursue a suit like that, wait a minute...DP flyers...lawyers...oh yeah, morons.

Anyway, Gimme a break, like I said it's not slander and if I had a technological clue it would already be a done deal.
