I think he was just trying to help. Sometimes you gotta let go for a while. I have a few ex-coworkers who are at Tradewinds and they hate it to a huge degree. They are gone all the time and don't get paid much at all. Perhaps you should call everyone you know outside of aviation and do something else for a while? The first few days hurt like a MF but it gets better slowly. I have been sidelined for almost three years now and I am very glad I didn't allow myself to be tempted by any fly by night operators.

Take any UPS post or response here with a grain. Most went to UPS from the military and never had a job or needed a job after getting lucky and getting on with UPS.

Dont let his response surprise you.

Yeah Those scummy military guys--just sitting around building time in the garden spots of the world without a care. And then these major airlines grab them up before they can get a real job. Just trying to keep them off the streets I guess. REDWAVE

I am sure you flew alot of missions on the other side of the world getting shot at in your RJ too. I don't think you have the right to claim we never had a "job" until you go for a combat mission with one of us...

WTF !!!!
Why don't you just go back to the regional side of this bb, where you belong. I don't try to post about the way that you came up through the ranks, and I don't care to read your moronic thoughts on what it's like to come up through the military. There are alot of pilots on this bb that have put their life on the line every time they suited up and pushed the throttles to the firewalll just to get airborne with all engine EGT lights on because of the Fcking heat of the desert. That was just to get airborne, not to mention the Fcking getting lit up by enemy SAM sites to and from there objective. Please refrain from calling this path of accumulating hours sitting around in garden spots building time.
You should be ashamed at yourself, as I am ashamed that you are in the same career as some of us. Sometimes, it amazes me how ignorant some people can be.

Thank you FedUp. All most all of us pay our dues to get where we are. It's just done in different ways.
