But SAM is above 68. If July SAM is above 85, 4.a.2.b is over.

Now to get back what we lost...

I've heard from several sources that we are pulling out all aircraft out of desert including 310s that need the expensive D checks

3) No upcoming excess on the Bus, looking at identing tails that could come out of the desert.

Yes

4) Large bid in the next month or so, in conjunction with the business plan being finalized.

Yes

5) HKG MD will be in the bid with 50-75 captains and fo slots.

Yes

6) Sweetened LOA to be negotiated in order to prevent the situation of nobody bidding it, so as not to repeat the Airbus not going fully filled for 2 years.

Yes, going to have to if anyone is going to bid it.

7) Flag ops classes and testing going on in June, fully Flag by the end of the summer.

???

8) Flag ops will cause huge numbers of holes to be filled on widebody international flying. One number I heard is 350 slots needed on the MD alone, due to increased rest requirements.

Yes

8) 4a2b gone in June.

Yes, heard from several...will know more this afternoon with June bidpack

9) Vacation buyback starts in July.

???

10) Hiring prior to Peak.

I can see the guys from corp dept and prof instructors coming to line when we exit 4a2b. (10-15 corp guys and 10-20 pros)
Not sure if we'd go to the pool before peak, but, definately in 2011

Also heard 757 SIBA out of Paris this summer/fall???
Don't know why, but reading 9 right after 8 made me laugh out loud.
Hoping it all comes true.....

Correct Sir!!!

And if it's only 84:59, it's not.

...and then we'd have to "start over" since it takes 2 consecutive months of the SAM being greater than 68/85 to come out of 4.a.2.b.

Post your predictions on the Jul SAM now!

Over/under? ....and by how much??

That sounds like typical airline management, which is not a good thing.

We have been told in MX here in the EMEA that the A310-200/300's will be replaced by the 757 so European feeders will be a A300/757 mix. Sometime from September onwards. Apparently the 777 will also be flying in and out of CDG around September too.

The 777 part is true. By the end of this year the 777 will be flying CDG and Shenzen to Memphis. That's what I heard.

What is really ****ing me off is the fact that the arbitrator has still not made a decision. We filed the grievance in Feb '09 and still no resolution. Talking about a system that is broken and unfairly favors the company. Of course management knew this and that is why they pressed to test. Totally disgusting!!!!!
