Tried to look up "bad rap", keeps sending me to "bum rap", which is what he meant, I suspect.

I just took an A310 down to maint. facility for mods to get it ready for service outside of CONUS, so this must confirm the intended further use of A310's ....................

8) 4a2b gone in June.
9) Vacation buyback starts in July.
10) Hiring prior to Peak.

Okay... so assuming that all of that is true, and the 777's come online as fragged (20 to 1 crew ratio???), and all of 60+ crowd coming up for retirement - won't you guys need to hire... soon?

The junior guys are simply "exercising their seniority rights" after getting bumped out of their captain seats by the over-60 guys. The union has told the junior guys to "get over it" (age-60 rule), so okay, they're over it. Now the union/senior-guy lobby needs to "get over it" with junior guys flying draft.

All training, except 777, canceled and excessed pilots return to their previous seats.
