4.A.2.b. Ends

The only way I'd support M/U is a new bank category. A 4a2b bank that holds the exact amount each individual was below BLG for the duration of 4a2b. When flown, this bank should pay draft pay. This also prevents a windfall to those who didn't "give". Last I checked, the generally accepted premise was that 4a2b was intended for all of us to give equally to prevent furloughs.
They took the money from my check as a compulsory loan while they waited to see what the economy would do. Last time I checked, lenders charge interest.

Waaah, waaah, waaaah....gime'me, gime'me, gime'me....booo f'in whooo
M/U hours/no M/U hours, draft pay, give me every penny I was shorted, blah blah blah. You are all pi$$in in the wind.
The company found a loophole, that WE (ALPA) left open for them to use, and we got royally screwed. Lesson learned, hire a professional lawyer (a team of them) to thoroughly scrub the next contract and close every potential loophole the company can use to their advantage without penalty.
I don't like 4A2b anymore than the next guy but the only person that will have the last say is the arbitrator. I pray that this person has some common sense, integrity and compassion for the common folk and sends a message to corrupt corporations that steal from their own employees to fill their pockets and pad the bottom line. But I'm not holding my breathe...

You may not be holding your breath but it seems like you went from mocking us to "pi$$in in the wind" with us in just a couple of paragraphs. That is if praying for common sense, integrity and compassion about corrupt, theiving corporations equates to our hopes that the answer to 4a2b is recouping lost pay.

I just don't want to see this situation implode on us right at a time when we need to be coming together, not bickering amongst one another.
I'm just saying.....

Isn't the discussion of what is acceptable or unacceptable a moot point? Am I missing something outside of the fact that the arbitrator has the final say and all parties involved have to accept the forthcoming decision?
I don't know....I have been up all night and am heading to bed.
Cheers,
Beertini

Brown on the other hand ... furloughed 54 pilots on Sunday.
And in 6-8 months UPS airline management heads will still be buried in brown.
Good on the FedEx group. Have any openings in sales ???
