YGTBSM "You Got to be S@$&&*#$ me" Toncontin/ Good deal??
Then why are these guys flying day Charlotte turns? Then the'll pick a good layover (for them) say a fun spot and stay there for 36 hrs paid. This gives them time to do the "paper work". What a joke.
OK sour grapes on my part for not being a volunteer. But i still have problems with the word volunteer and $$$ compensation.
Anyone remember the NASA study or the ENDERS good deals. Fooled me twice. Good deal for who??

I disagree with the general direction everyone is going on this LOSA thing. It may have worked at other airlines, but I seriously doubt it'll work at FedEx. Our management has too long of a track record of doing anything they can to screw with, and blame pilots for me to suddenly and blindly trust they will use the LOSA results as intended. How did that ole' 4A2b intention turn out, huh? Management continues to withhold the results of the Enders Report from us and they continue to withhold implementation of an ASAP program because they want to use the results from that to discipline pilots.
Past management performance clearly indicates they will attempt to use anything they can against the pilots and in general, screw with us. They have not done anything to turn that around so why anyone now would blindly allow them yet another tool to use against us, is way beyond me.

I just received an email request from a LOSA observer to ride on my flight tonight (tomorrow am?). Frankly, I think it was nice of him to "ask" for the jumpseat. I have a few issues with the program, will let you know how it turns out.

Currently flights are tracked to determine engine out taxi (fuel saving). if they can track flights the can track YOU.
Just say NO Thankyou to LOSA.

With the exception of the Jurassic Jet, if you pass gas while sitting in the seat, the company, instantly knows what you had for lunch or dinner.
They're not "tracking" flights just to determine whose following the engine-out taxi procedures and whose not. If you can, spend some time in GOCC and you'll get more of an appreciation for the tracking that is going on, and more importantly, why it's happening.
