Did you go to bizzaro economics101? Its simple...more volume equals more planes which equals more pilots. I know its a hard concept for someone that thinks eveyone owes them a living. Now if you would direct your energy to creating instead of destroying we may be able to move foward.

Your stratagy to inflict hate and discontent while reducing our volume is crazy. It does not make any sense! Step into the light, take those Union blinders off and join us in the real world.

Its simple Shaggy. More volume equals more Pilots! Get on it! We are all counting on you!

Repeat after me, I FLY THE CONTRACT, NO FAVORS NO WAIVERS. I have some 30 years left here and will not lift a finger to help you or this company until the leadership of this place changes. I will do my job and do it well but nothing more, That you can count on!

If you would take the time to come into scheduling you would see what we deal with, but you won't. As far as Christmas goes, sure your ACP can approve one, but dont ask me or my peers to help out any other way around that day.
Personally I would LOVE to. It would probably put a lot of things into perspective. I would also love if schedulers were required to come on our toughest pairings (ex. SDF-IAH-SAT-GDL....min rest...GDL-SDF). Of course I'm sure the co. doesn't want the schedulers to actually know that "legal" doesn't = safe or prudent.

Well Shaggy if I end up in the IPA we can become pals. I want to mentor you, show you the ropes, teach you how to be a model employee. We can discuss ecomomics , free markets and how the world really works. I know there's still hope for you, just need a little guideance. Its to bad the Union got to you before I did....you are still young and I feel with a little mentoring we can turn you around together.

Ug Company make LOTS of Money.... Me deserve that money. Company fly empty plane so I get money. Company only furlough unless bankrupt. I make money. Oh no company furlough with no bankruptcy. Me mad me show company who's boss now.

Come on saying the company doesn't care about the business, give me a break.

UPS isn't Obama they won't give you a stimulus plan and create a deficit for the shareholders..

Gumbie is right. It is going to be volume that will bring pilots back sooner.

While I understand the desire for someone to be sympathetic with our schedules it would imo not do us much good. The scheduling dept is run by mgt and those schedulers not willing to view things from their perspective would soon be out of work.

IMO the opportunities to improve our schedules will only come from future contracts and even those are iffy in the enforcement area. Goodwill from anyone at ups is something I gave up on long ago.
