If they don't sign on now and we have to fight to get those positions later, they should then not get date of hire. This should be their only chance at date of hire. After this they should be stapled to the bottom.

On another note, heard there will be a cancellation of the furlough in a few days.

Thats quite the statement there Aflouisville! I found the post by you back on Sep 11 when you said the furlough would be called off in 30-60 days. Its been right at 60 days today. However, if they do call it off in the next few days I'll give you the few days buffer and conclude you indeed had good sources and knew what you were talking about . How about we give it a week to see if your posts can be trusted

Thanks for the vote of confidence. I make no guarantees, but I do have good contacts.

AFSDF,
I to hope you are correct. Any word regarding those still on the street (recall)?

Are these two separate things? In my opinion if a company hasnt recalled everyone or setup a plan/schedule to recall everyone then the furlough hasnt been canceled.

The company may be trying to pull a fast one. If they announce the furlough is canceled before peak they will be hoping that the OT/JA ban is canceled. The ban should not be canceled until every single pilot is back on property at full pay. By the way received another JA call today.
