FDX Contract Admin link Inop

All good points.
Why would the company take the link down now, I think, is the point of the original post.

You don't have the big picture. VIPS is being accessed too often. Pilots have learned how to use their E-grid and once again decided to visit PFC.
Look soon for the FCIF outlining further "improvements" to streamline the website to keep requests from exceeding the capacity of VIPS to handle them. All to ensure reliability during peak.
They won't be happy until we're all calling scheduling to check in, deviate or whatever. I prefer to call when they're making daily assignments.
Me calling scheduling - "I'm sorry, I left my e-grid at home. Can you check me in, look at my schedule and give me the parking code?"

I've decided that the Expense Report system is just too hard. Whenever I have to do an expense report I call my auditor. I figure if we all did that, "they" would make the system easier to use ...

Congrats FXDX, you're one of the 20% of FDX pilots that thinks for themselves. I'll bet you voted against the LOA. Worse yet, you probably actually read the contract and TA's when they are presented.
For the rest of you - of course I have copies of the CBA on multiple computers and know how to access it on ALPA. Based on management's actions over the last couple of years, removing the easiest and most convenient access to our CBA just in time for peak doesn't bode well.
I suggest that, if you think the scheduler is "working" you, tell them they'll have to hold while you access the contract through alternate means.

Just a friendly reminder
. Fraternally Free download of the CBA is available at MagicWebFX.net. The file is a CHM file.
The CHM file is a Windows document compiled and saved in a compressed HTML format. The biggest advantage of a CHM file, over a PDF, is the embedded hyperlinks leading to the many paragraph references elsewhere in the CBA; and, it also has better search functions.
MAC users need a [free] chm reader program to access the file. There is also a tutorial on how to put this chm version of the CBA on your iPhone using a free chm reader app.
