It's an awesome program, where every FQS enjoys coming to work. If you have flown nothing but RJ's then expect to be sent to ANC for a check airman position on the 747 or the MD-11. Don't worry if you don't know anything about international flying. You can learn as you go.

Good luck if you seriously want that job.

BTW. Anyone notice how much MEF is going on lately? Seems to be a lot now that peak is over and no more contractors. I am still not sure how it is an emergency with people on furlough? No one has given me an answer on that one.....besides "it's in the contract". Still waiting.

Back to my help wanted ads.

I'm sure that the vast majority of the furloughed guys would rather be sodomized by a bull elephant, than be a member of the UPS management team. However, I could be wrong.

then I guess there is no issue with outsiders applying. that is if they'd want to. doesn't sound like they play nice. management that is.

I am sure there will be more than a few that apply. It is a job after all. They do not know what they are getting themselves into though.
