Question When will we see the FDX TA??

Its been 5 or 6 days since ALPA's nego committee and FDX mgt agreed to the TA. Many details have been "leaked" but many more to be seen. I'm guessing the MEC has "bought off" on the TA or the details of that would have been "leaked" by now. Given that its got to be printed and mailed, I figure some time early next week when we get our copy of this agreement.
It could be available earlier via the web, possibly in pdf format. Question: Anyone know when we will see these documents??

Also, for the UPS lurkers, is your "contract" available to be seen via Internet and if so, where??

Default Sep 8lth...

MEC meets from the 6th thru the 8th. If approved, they will be posting the TA on the Union web site and send individual copies out on the 8th.

I believe the e-mail said the MEC meets 6-8 Sept and if the MEC approves the TA an e-mail copy will go out that day, with road shors to follow. Check the ALPA website.

Default Excuses...

I believe they are working on the excuses.....

1. Why 'Signing Bonus" instead of Retro Pay..

2. Only $2.00 increase in intl over ride....

3. No "Lump sum" in retirement.....

4. Unbelieveable $0.05 increase in per diem......

etc, etc.....

A guy on the NC told me there's a "writing committee" meeting some place in MEM to put everything into final contract language. They're trying to smooth it up and get it ready to hand to the MEC by the end of tomorrow (Friday).

Not to mention half of the good stuff isn't phased in for at least a year...including it taking a $27B/YR company 2 years to pay a W/B Capt $30 G's???

The "roadshow" folks are probably lubing up the rhetoric machine as we speak.....gotta get that 51% is all.

Glad to know that I've never heard any rhetoric here, or expect to hear any in the future.

Your rhetoric sounds like you've already made up your mind to be against the TA. How can you be so negative when we haven't seen any of the details of the TA in writing?

Relax. Get the facts before you come out with the guns blazing!
