I just want to say...I truly hope that my 19 friends and I are wrong. I wouldn't even be angry about it.

Yeah, great idea. We can see where previous Wilson polling got us.... nowhere. Why spend more dues on a source of information that it seems no one in ALPA leadership pays attention to?

I submit that we bag the polling, lower the dues to the value of the representation that the general membership receives...... 0.10%.

No need for Wilson Center polling. We're going to get a COLA and some junior varsity word smithed changes to 4.a.2.b., work rues and benefits. I'm not even sure we need negotiators for that?

Events have proven that the United States First Officer corps, after 20 years in the right seat, has a skill and experience level, combined with mental acuity, eyesight, and physical health to keep a 4 year old out of trouble in the left seat.

Raise the age to 70. Then the FO will be 50, have 18,000 hrs, and could probably keep anyone safe. Hell, raise the age to corpse. Just make sure that the corpse's wife fills the corpse's wallet before shipping it to ops for the trip. We'll need to take a beer stipend from it on the layover.
