i still do not know what the whining is about...who became an airline pilot to spend their entire career in the simulator?...get over it!...spend a few years teaching then get back on the line and move some boxes...

I
We've already discussed 11.M.9.d., and I think I've made my position clear. It is a concession. I believe it is a small concession, and one that will affect only a small number of pilots. Apart from the size or the audience, I believe it is fair.
I see that as giving back very little. Lost a good deal? Yes. Fair? Yes.

If this TA passes and the flex guys/gals now think that flying the line is a better deal, then maybe they should give up their flex job. I'm not a flex, so I don't know. Maybe it is worth it, maybe not. That is up to each individual to decide.

RAC,
How about those flex job to flex job guys get a little time in the jet before they start teaching it. I always liked going to the sim in MEM when we first started flying into SFS. The flexes would try and tell us how we should fly the VOR. Then you would ask them if they had ever been there and you normally got this response. "laughing" "I'm never going to fly there!" So much for credibility.

You are the one who made the statement, Want to bet you Bonus on it?
The Point is they aren't Quitting because this TA is going to make their life miserable. There have been several Pilots here at Fedex that have never, that's NEVER flown the LINE. They have made a career out of positions in psuedo MGT jobs, Training Jobs, Duty Officers.
Still want to BET?
