I was just reading on our union website a rumor that it is AA that will be selling the bulk of their 757's to FedEx. AA in this scenario would be picking up a bunch of A-319/20/21's from Airbus quickly and on the cheap to cover the loss of AC. FedEx would supposedly also pay AA to maintain the all the 75's.
Anybody at Purple heard any recent rumors about this?
