And then ask that "fellow flyer" who has a Jepp EFB if he did a side-by-side (simulator or inflight) comparison of the Jepp vs LIDO EFB. FedEx did, and the Jepp EFB is a POS in comparison.

But, if the Jepp is the only EFB you've seen, it's great. Ignorance is bliss.

And what fellow flyers might that be, pray tell? Far as I know, FDX is the first airline in the US to go EFB.

I could give crap! You could hand write the stuff in crayon on toilet paper, for all I care. As long as I don't have to carry the 45lb bag and do revision, I'm a happy camper.

Contrary to popular belief, Jepp and NOS aren't the only ones that make charts. There are quite a few out there.

THESE ARE THE FACTS!!!!!!!!!!!!

I praise you for posting facts. Few choose to do so.

But I believe management would go for the cheaper option, in the long run, if they could. Sure, Jepp is offering a discount now. But what are they going to do to the rates when the disounted contract expires??

Sorrry, no facts in my post. Only conjecture. I wish I knew the details of the competing deals.

Any EFB is better than not.

For those asking, LIDO is a competing product to Jepp. It's different.

CHEAPER OPTION!!??? Exactly...NOT better. Lido is only able to win customers by BUYING their business!! You tell me how long it will be before they jack up the price to FDX because right now they are selling it at a loss (to everyone). As I understand at the on-set Jepp offered a better deal and price (without a ridiculous discount ) (or a Rolex ).

As for JetBlue.........keep watching...they are not happy so my friend who flys for them tells me.
