Fdx Vacation???

Ok, where'd my red vacation line go and why are my trips still in it's place? I'd like to slide and expand....but no can do.

It shows them still there, I know I didn't lose them, but when I input the slide to remove one more trip, it doesn't give me confirmation that it is removing the week that vacay was sitting on. It only gives me confirmation that it is removing that one trip.

Weird... I guess the processing needs to catch up.

Now if I slide and expand, it leaves the trips that the vacation was sitting on originally....don't remember it doing that before. The trips vacation touches initially should be removed and in OT now, they're not.

Nothing is official until the conflict window is closed on monday. Things won't show up in OT until then because you can always change your mind on slide and expand until then.

As FDXLAG said, go to your bid processing summary page. It will tell you what will be dropped with what you currently have selected. Change something and then go back and you'll see different results.

Thanks, I see all that, and have watched bid period processing page change when I make changes. BUT, I thought that the trips vacation touches right off the bat are removed immediately, then you can expand/slide to remove even more????

See, my vacation sits on a week of trips. In the past, they were immediately removed and put in OT. Now if I slide and expand, it no longer touches those trips, and bid period processing only shows the removal of one trip that I slid vacation over to touch?

Why aren't those trips removed BEFORE expansion? R Days are removed immediately...

Make sense? If that is not the case, then what are the trips sitting in OT for next month now, all carry in conflict?

I think I figured it out....I didn't slide it, just expanded it and knocked out the trip I wanted to knock out...

I didn't realize how far we can expand it.
