Deviating to CGN (FDX)
Hello, anyone have any suggestions regarding deviating into CGN? For ground transpo to the Dorint Hotel is there a shuttle? Or does anyone have a good email for the CGN ramp? I tried the one in the pocket calendar and it failed to deliver.
Thanks

If you're a Delta miles guy, try taking the Delta flight into Dusseldorf and taking the train right from the airport to Koln. Buy the tickets at the station and take the Express train to Koln HBF. 45 minute ride. You can walk from the station to the hotel.

Heads up; make yourself a map from the Cologne HBF to the hotel before you start your walk. It is about a 10-15 minute walk throught the pedestrian shopping district. I thought I knew Cologne fairly well, but still took a wrong turn when I did this a while back. Other option is to fly into FRA and take the train to Mainz and then connect to the train along the Rhine. A few hours on the train but great sightseeing.
