It's sad that my use of the term "moron" has drawn away from the message I was trying to convey.
My apologies to those offended. As you can clearly see:
I was only calling those of the non-voting 85% that are apathetic, morons.
The rest of those that didn't vote due to some other reason, are just indolent rocket surgeons.

Unicorns and skittles for all! Keep up the good work, the more often you refer to your fellows as morons, the greater the respect you will garner for your ideas.

The BLK 3 rep at FDX represents, and thus votes, for about 14% of our total pilot group. I wouldn't consider that a minor union position.

First of all, I don't care if the company cares who holds our union's positions. Their view on WHO, is irrelevant. What is relevant though, is their view on "HOW". As in, how did our leaders get to their position? Were they elected by a concerned, solid and engaged group? Or, were they elected by a group that appear so indifferent, that our leaders are elected with 8% of the possible votes?

Thanks for sharing your thoughts with us though.

The fact that you would call a group of your peers, not knowing any of their individual situations, a derogatory term (moron) out of emotion, only shows us how immature and psychologically young you are. Worry about the guy in the mirror.....that is the only guy you have the power to change. Good luck.
