The point you are missing is you're getting less pay, no extra time off AND less pilots behind you on the seniority list because of the "convienence" of living in ANC and using company jumpseats. Think about what you're saying.
If you still don't get it, then just trust us and do everybody a favor by keeping your mouth shut when you get hired on somewhere.

Granted, I'm just some poor sucker hand flying a Chieftain at 17,000 feet over the Rockies single pilot at night while working his way up the food chain. I guess I'll just never be good enough or smart enough to be a vaunted UPS pilot because apparently I didn't learn this stuff a long time ago. Forgive me for having a goal and trying to learn something.

Ok, really? Show me where I've shown anything but support for the IPA and UPS pilot group.

1. The pilots here are one of the finest groups I've ever had the pleasure to fly with. You need help? You got it, no questions asked!
2. UPS makes billions and billions on our backs, while treating us like crap. They would turn their back on you in a heartbeat and think nothing of it.
So when you start talking about efficiencies that would cause the company to use less pilots, well that stings a little bit. Our only strength is to have more IPA pilots. Leverage is wonderful thing when your dealing with this group from Atlanta!
Keep flying and good luck!

Your taking this way to personal. You have every right to come and work at UPS as the next guy does.
Keep striving for your dreams and don't let anyone stop you in your pursuits.
BTW, nearly every single UPS and FEDEX pilot has come up through the ranks similar to where you're at and flown the crappy flying that exists while you're working your way up the ladder. It is difficult and challenging right now, but one day you will realize it was some of the best flying you ever did. Enjoy the ride.

Even some of the UPS 747 non IPA captains? I don't think so.....
I know you said nearly,,,but I just had to get that in there...There is nothing like going through a career being junior while a scab like puke tells you how it should be done.....
Oh but wait,,,he is one of the good ones....LOL
