The IPA has screwed up a few times so nothing would surprise me anymore. Still trust the IPA over ups mismanagement any day of the week. Quite honestly we would be better off with new hires rather than take a single nurp.

I spoke with an eb member and he confirmed ups and the ipa have not had any discussions about putting the managers on the seniority list.

Congrats on taking delivery of the 76's, hope the remaining 44 are back on campus soon.
Though familiar with most acronym's including EB, IPA, was the FNG around here for a while :-). I was even familiar with a NURP.
However I'm not familiar with FQS.... anyone mind?

Sorry to interrupt the thread... and now back to our regularly scheduled program.

UPS is announcing today the TNT buyout is over. Announced they have to pay TNT 200 million euros since they couldn't get it done.

I'll be expecting some cost cutting from our catering and hotels and more cutbacks to pay for that giant f@cking catastrophe.

Just heard that the EU said no to the TNT deal, UPS is pulling the plug.
Hope it's not true.

It is true and get ready to have serious cost cutting measures to make up for the 200 M euros they are now going to lose. Good luck to any recalls anytime soon.

Hoping the best for all the remaining UPS furloughs and their families.
The only problem is that they are taking 7 Airbus lines so look for a displacement bid soon!
