Like their's is SO superior to ours? I'll take their union's BALLS and UNITY anytime over ours.

Remembering recent history with the 777 Arbitration as well as the # of 767 Lanyards I see being worn, I think ALPA leadership is taking the wise path to get a deal done cementing the 767 rates now, if it indeed it puts the 767 in a Contractual WB category, which means R day and vacation days are paid at WB rates.

Would I prefer there just be a Contract delivered with No 767 LOA in the short term? Yes I would. But realistically I hope the 767 can be Solidified NOW as a WB for hourly Pay, Reserve Guarantee and Vacation. Just like the 777, there appears to be Pilots here who just can't wait to get there hands on one regardless of pay. Hopefully SS won't bid it before this is done

What are you trying to say with he above in red. You think their work rules are superior or do you think ours are? After I know that I can evaluate your second statement.

Ironic you say that.

Balls and Unity starts with us (you and I, and our actions.)

You obviously aren't happy with some stuff that is going/has gone on around here. That is fine. Disagreement is good, but don't undermine "Our" guys when they are at the table working on a new contract and a LOA regarding the 767.

We're all on the same team here.

Don't like something, unhappy with something, write your Union Rep. They can't fix what they don't know about, and perhaps you'll learn the reasoning as to why things are the way they are. (Not saying you have to like what they say, & if you don't, let them know it). Writing your rep takes about as much time as it does to post on this forum.

A380 rates, 777 Bid, 4a2b, & age 60 are all over. Learn from them and move on.

Yep. MEC review. TBD if standalone LOA or part of new CBA.

It's not about keeping work rules. It's about figuring out how to integrate, or keep separate, the 767 and 757. Especially for pay purposes.

Until that is ironed out you won't see me bid the thing. I'd hate to be senior enough to hold a 767 line but end up flying sub trips at the 757 rate.

IMHO a combined 767/757 reserve system is in our future. How that gets paid, at the wide body or narrow body rate, needs to be agreed upon.
