There is absolutely no need to get personal and tell anyone where they should choose to work. We are having an open discussion and there was no comparism made to UPS. In this tough economic times it just seems like a single pay rate who have been more beneficial to both the FDX and it's pilot group. Now if there is something you'd like to educate me on, I'm always open to learning.

Seems to me they would have to follow the FEPP Settlement Agreement and make virtual training dates. If they want to actually put bodies there the would have to have a vacancy bid, then anyone on the FEPP list would actually have to continue to bid HKG and anyone else could bid also.
I smell another grievance and another roll over by ALPA.

"back in the day" I remember American flew 777's from DFW to ORD, and DFW to MIA - the 777 was the highest paying equipment American had then......so, it's not really about the distance as it is about the gross weight/lift capacity

I don't see a huge risk here. If you get the award, you can still turn it down. If you've received FEPP, you would have to repay it.
I doubt they are planning on adding that many captains. Sounds like a bluff to me.
Wondering why there aren't more people bidding EUROPE 757 in hopes for FEPP? Seniority 3151 (junior 757 captain) up to around 3670 are eligible and could very possible hold Memphis 757 Captain before they get awarded CGN. Seems like a decent risk. Worst case is paying back FEPP..

One thing to consider if you plan on taking the FEPP for a while and then paying it back is that you will have to pay income taxes on that money while you are earning it. When you have to pay it back to the company they are not going to care that you paid income tax on it, they will want it all back.
Just something to think about.

How'd you come up with that number? I count a lot more on list 02 and 03 (no idea about the 3rd hidden list) just based on what they could hold today.
