Wow, that kind of irony is like rain on your wedding day.

Or getting a free ride when you already paid.

Yeah I can. Some have been known to steal toilet paper and other amenities from layover hotels and bring them back home or to their crash pads! Know who I am talking about?

Glad I wasn't the only one who thought of that.

The stuff that the hotels throw out after you leave? They're just being environmentally conscious.

Or are you referring to the actual towels?

Most make well over $200,000 according to our union. Those that don't are close--meaning well north of $150,000

Most FO's make close to 200K and many make 230K plus. What amazes me is how Cheap the FO's are!!!

They make way more than I did when I was here 13 years plus after their Third year here. And most want to go to Subway or some flea bag Cheap restaurant when on layovers. They don't want to spend $. Steak House? NO WAY! And they are making more than most Captains anywhere else. It's mind blowing how cheap someone making over 200K can be.

And I always buy rounds, but it's not my Job to do for someone making that kind of money; and after three years on property. Someone on probation is a different story.

Let's see, after reviewing my W2's for the past 6 years I've made $73K a year average as a UPS pilot over the past 6 years counting my little company sponsored vacation. So forgive me if I might not want to drop $50 on dinner at a steak house so I can pay my bills at home and try and save a little money for the next time I'm furloughed. Far cry from the 200K you all are throwing around. Not complaining, glad to have paycheck for now. But your experience is not even remotely close to what most junior people have experienced and what future UPS pilots (if we ever hire again) will experience. Glad it worked out for someone.

Your not on property. My reply was to someone saying that CA are cheap. Which is true. But it is also true of FO's on property flying. They make more than anyone here from 1988 till 2006 at their low years of service. By a huge margin! 12th year pay as an FO was 123 an hour. Now it's like 144 Second year! So being cheap goes both ways.
